Guard Up Winter Break Adventure
When: Mon 2/19/18 – Fri 2/23/18
Where: Guard Up at 103 Terrace Hall Ave in Burlington
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
Age: 5 and up
Cost: approximately $400 for the week
The winds blow cold in Sidleterra as the influence of the Balkans are felt. Join us for this adventure based on the culture and stories of Bulgaria. Mysteries, magic, and the undead await! Blue Hills Trailside Museum February Vacation Days
When: Mon 2/19/18 – Fri 2/23/18
Where: Blue Hills Trailside Museum at 1904 Canton Ave in Milton
Time: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM daily
Age: 5 – 9 years
Cost: $70 per day
Learn about wildlife in the winter! Children can stay at the Blue Hills Trailside Museum for one day, or for the entire week. Our week will be filled with fun and learning through games, crafts, exploring the Blue Hills, and meeting some of Trailside’s resident animals up close. Faneuil Hall Marketplace Movie Nights
When: Mon 2/19/18 – Thurs 2/22/18
Where: 1 Faneuil Hall Sq in Boston
Time: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM daily
Age: at parents’ discretion (movies rated PG)
Cost: free
Faneuil Hall Marketplace has the perfect solution to winter break boredom with Marketplace Movie Nights. There will be free movies starting at 6:30pm in the Lower Rotunda in the Quincy Market building. All movies are rated PG and include “The Iron Giant” (Mon), “Moana” (Tues), “Despicable Me 3” (Wed), and “Beauty & The Beast” (Thurs). You can visit Quincy Market or one of the many restaurants in the area for a bite to eat before the movie starts.
February Vacation Camp at The Kid’s Place for Fun
When: Mon 2/19/18 – Fri 2/23/18
Where: Kids Place for Fun at 15 Highland Place in Needham
Time: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM daily
Age: 5 and up
Cost: $70 for full day
Do your kids like to make new friends, paint, play games, do crafts and dance? If so, they will love the February Vacation Camp at the Kid’s Place in Needham. Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary Adventure Days
When: Tues 2/20/18 – Fri 2/23/18
Where: Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary at 87 Perkins Row in Topsfield
Time: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM daily
Age: 5 – 11 years
Cost: $68 per day, $200 for the week
Your child will sharpen her observation skills as she locates and learns about winter animals and taps a sugar maple tree to make syrup. The Sanctuary has a warm cozy Barn and Nature Center for indoor activities that include listening to stories, singing songs, playing with friends, and looking under a microscope. STEAM February Vacation Camps

Where: Acera at 5 Lowell Ave in Winchester
Time: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM daily
Age: 5 – 18 years (depends on the program)
Cost: $120 per day, $550 for the week
Acera’s STEAM Learning Lab is designed to challenge students of all ages and learning styles. Acera believes that deep exploration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects should begin early. Participants should expect to tackle difficult, enticing problems, individually and in groups. They should anticipate taking the time to incorporate new techniques as they create unique works of art or design experimental protocols or novel engineering solutions.
