.Boston Tutoring Services is proud to support local libraries. Check out the fun-filled holiday events taking place at the Lowell library (Pollard Memorial) below. There will be events for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a STEAM workshop series.
Friends-Giving Celebration
Wednesday, November 20th at 10:30am
Come celebrate friendship, family, and fun! Join us for songs, dance, stories, and more. All children and their grown-ups are welcome. No registration required.
Jingle Jam
Saturday, December 7th at 10:30am
Let the music move you with our special Jingle Jam music and movement morning. We’ll build your holiday spirit as we sing and dance to some of our favorite tunes, including Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and some new songs, too. Children of all ages (babies and toddlers, too!) and their grown-ups are invited to this celebration. No registration required.
STEAM Exploration Workshop Series
Presented by Full Steam Learning. Join us for a series of workshops about STEAM (Science – Technology -Engineering – Art – Math) on the dates below from 3:30—4:30 PM. Workshops are open for grades 3 – 5. Registration is required. Sign up once and attend all of the workshops. Please register using the child’s name only.
November 18 – Electromagnetics – Make a battery / Build an electromagnet
November 25 – Electronics – Squishy circuits / Build a circuit puzzle
December 2 – Robotics – Brushbots / Artbots
December 9 – Chemistry – Elephant toothpaste / Mystery liquids
