Holiday Book Sale: Stop by our holiday sale in the lobby now through December 24, with new additions daily. Featuring new and like-new DVD’s and CD’s, Christmas books, children’s and adult books, and more. You’ll find the perfect gifts at great prices.  Happy shopping!

Board Game Afternoon with Matt Donle of Wicked Fun Games: Saturday, December 14, 2019. Drop in anytime between 1:00 and 4:45 to learn and play some new and modern board games! Everyone is welcome at this fun afternoon hosted by Matt Donle of Wicked Fun Games. Most games will be for ages 8+. We’ll have many games available to choose from including:
– Castle Panic – a game where you work cooperatively to prevent a castle from being overrun by monsters!
– Hey That’s My Fish! – a game where you try to get as many fish as you can before the board floats away!
– Sushi Go – collect sets of differently flavored sushi in a 3 course meal!
– Forbidden Desert – a game about trying to survive in a shifting desert while uncovering parts of an ancient flying ship!
– Carcassonne – lay tiles down to construct a medieval cityscape!
– Labyrinth – play as wizards collecting ingredients for a spell in a constantly shifting maze!
– Tokaido – a game about traveling on a journey, seeing the sights and eating food

Make–Open Studio: Thursday, December 19, 2019. Calling all artists! Join us for an afternoon of open ended creativity as we inspire each other and build our creative community. Materials available for use: paint, air dry clay, yarn, collage, letter stamps, and more. There will also be materials available from previous Make workshops including: mason jar painting, book page wreath, postcard journal, due date frames, and more! Please bring any in-progress work to continue or to get feedback, ideas, and support on. This is a free, drop in event.

Cookie Decorating: Monday, December 30, 2019. Ages 6 and up, drop-in event. Join us for a cookie decorating party – a sweet addition to a cold vacation week. Cookies and decorating materials will be provided, just bring yourself and a little imagination. Please wear suitable apparel, icing can get messy!

Family Movie–Toy Story 4: Monday, December 30, 2019. Rated “G”, 100 minutes, drop-in event. Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called ‘Forky’ to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy. Families are invited to bring a blanket to get comfy on the floor, a favorite snack, and a drink (covered, please!) while we dim the lights and watch the show.
