Trolls World Tour Movie Premiere and Character Meet
When: Sat 4/18
Where: Braintree AMC – 121 Grandview Road, Braintree
Time: 10am – 1pm
Age: all ages
Cost: $17 Kids, $22 Adults. Kids 2 and under are free
Come enjoy a private screening of Trolls World Tour and meet Poppy and Branch! Tickets include a movie ticket, character meet and greet, and complimentary online photos with all characters. Doors open at 9:30am, character meet and greet from 10-11am, and movie start time 11:15am. First come first serve seating. Tickets available online.
Lexington Patriots Day Parade 2020
When: Mon 4/20
Where: East Lexington
Time: 2pm
Age: all ages
Cost: free
Commemorate Patriot’s Day at the annual parade in Lexington. Starting at Massachusetts Avenue and Maple Street in East Lexington, proceeding west along Massachusetts Avenue through Lexington Center, left onto Worthen Road ending at the Town Pool Parking Lot. Earlier in the day, you can also witness a reenactment of the Battle on Lexington Green along with lots of other scheduled activities.
ACA’s April Vacation Arts Camp
When: Mon through Fri 4/20 – 4/24
Where: Arlington Center for the Arts
Time: 9am – 4:30pm
Age: pre-K through teens
Cost: $380 for the week
ACA’s April Break Camp will be a fun, dynamic mix of art, music, and drama! ACA will offer full day camps for our Young at Art, Vacation Arts and Counselor-In-Training programs. Our April theme will be The Great Outdoors. We’ll celebrate Earth Day, our amazing animals, and natural resources while we explore the wonders of the savannah, tundra, desert, and your own backyard!
April Vacation Camp at The Painting Place 4 Fun
When: Mon through Fri 4/20 – 4/24
Where: Painting Place, Needham center
Time: 9:30am – 2pm
Age: 3-12 years
Cost: $45 per day
Join us over the April break for a morning of fun! Painting, dancing, games, crafts and more. Stay until 12:30 or 2pm. Come with a friend or make new ones! We will have pizza lunch (or you can bring your own lunch) and a snack.
TimberNook Spring Break Program
When: Mon through Fri 4/20 – 4/24
Where: 66 Westford Road, Carlisle
Time: 9am – 3pm
Age: 8-13 years
Cost: $365
This fun in the woods program is Indiana Jones-themed! Kids will be building forts, tunnels, and bridges, and making costumes and slingshots. There will be active games, code breaking and a treasure hunt. Providers reserve the right to change the curriculum theme based on weather and available materials. Have kids dress in layers in outdoor clothes that can get dirty and smelly, proving all the fun your children are having while playing in the woods.
Green Week April Vacation Week
When: Tues through Fri 4/21 – 4/24
Where: The Umbrella Arts, Concord
Time: varies
Age: 4-13 years
Cost: $225 for partial days, $450 for full days
Welcome spring and join us in celebrating and exploring the arts at The Umbrella. Projects during Green Week aim to build sustainable ideas and practices in everyday living by touching on themes of reduce, reuse, and recycle. Transform plastic parts, newspaper, cardboard, scrap fabrics, and recycled ceramics into art. Students have the opportunity to work in the mediums of Drawing & Painting, 2D and 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Performing Arts, Art & Nature, Woodworking/Workshop, and more!
