Amanda Tran

Bachelor of Arts, Mathematics, University of Massachusetts, Boston, 2023

Amanda tutors students in grades 5-12, as well as at the undergraduate level, in Mathematics (including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus at all levels), Biology, and Physics. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Pure Mathematics at Tufts University. She is experienced in supporting students in test-taking and study skills. She enjoys developing personalized curriculum to meet the specific needs of her students.
Amanda has spoken at a handful of math conferences over the last two years about her original research in combinatorics over finite projective space, and is currently working on her master’s thesis in finite geometry. When she’s not doing math, she enjoys rock climbing, crafting (knitting, crocheting, knotting, bracelet making, beading, drawing, painting, animating, you name it!), or taking hikes.
