Dan tutors students in grades 4-12 in all subject areas (English, Science, Social Studies, and Math, through Algebra). He prepares students for all sections of the ISEE and SSAT tests. He is experienced in working with students with a wide range of special needs and enjoys differentiating his instruction to meet the specific needs of his students. He provides executive functioning support and help with study skills and organization. In addition to tutoring, he works in the finance operations sector, and has done so for the last 14 years.
Dan says, “I have always had a passion for teaching.  The opportunity to positively impact young learners in a way that allows them to demonstrate their own abilities and achievements is very valuable to me.  I was first introduced to teaching by my father, who was a teacher for 30 years in New York City.  I like to spend most of my free time with my wife, three children, and our dog Emma, doing almost anything outside.  We enjoy visiting the animals at Davis Farmland in Sterling, MA and exploring tide pools at the beaches in Maine.
